This is where you can learn more about us and  our "children",  the

poodles . I say children because as you all know these little creatures that God has given to us are as precious to us as a child. They need  love and attention  to reach their greatest potential , as would anyone.

We have been around animals all of our life. We grew up with the family dogs and cats (can't leave our feline friends out) . Our children and grandchildren also have pets as their special friends.

I have been affiliated with The American Kennel Club for many years,

as a registered dog owner, and but only a short time as a full time

breeder of purebred dogs..It is a lot of work but it keeps me from becoming a "couch potato" as my kids say.

In the early 80's I became the proud owner of my first poodle. She was

so smart .. the only thing she couldn't do to communicate with us was

to actually speak words as we do.  she went to "doggie heaven" in 1991.

In 1998, I finally bought me another poodle, Sophia, and then two weeks later while on our way to Seattle, Washington, I bought yet another poodle, Master Chesti Puller.. From there on it has been Poole's, Poodles, and puddles ..we're hooked on poodles!

Our poodles have their own room with a "doggie" door that leads into the back yard.  They  have their own "bedroom"  to sleep in at night. When the lights are turned out they go to sleep. But , when daylight shines thru the window, they let me know that it is time to get up..(best alarm clock anyone ever had) . Not only are they hungry, but they are ready to start their day.

We have a "nursery" room off  the kitchen that is only for mothers-to-be and youngsters. As it gets closer to "D" day the mother-to-be will be in our living quarters ( usually following me around )  and in my bedroom at night. Babies usually decide to arrive in the wee hours of the night. I am awake and with the mothers during and after their labor and delivery.. assisting or just giving moral support. 

After all, who would want to miss such a wonderful gift from God!
